This blog has a lot of Apologetics based links on it. I've come to realize lately that most people have no idea what Apologetics is. Allow me to explain. Christian Apologetics has nothing to do with apologizing for our faith. The word actually comes from the greek word apologia which means a defense. So in other words, Apologetics is simply a defense of the Christian faith.
There is a myth in our world today that Christian faith is blind faith. It's readily assumed and accepted that there is no evidence for what we believe in. People think the Bible is a bunch of stories similar to Aesop's fables and therefore it's not worth reading, researching or investigating because it lacks truth and reason and basic logic.
Skeptics would have you believe that science and religion cannot agree and are at war with one another. Therefore if you believe in science you can't possibly be religious. If you are a reasonable, intelligent, logical human being, you can't possibly believe in the resurrection of Jesus and other crazy miracles in the Bible. From my experience, most people have no clue what they are talking about. In fact, one friend of mine told me he doesn't read the Bible because a king wrote it. He was referring to the King James translation of the Bible.
Have you examined the evidence for yourself? Or, did you think that there was none and that our faith was blind? Did you know there are a plethora of physicists, scientists, astronomers, mathematicians and historians who are Christians?
